Complainers R’ Us

Complainers are people who express dissatisfaction, pain, uneasiness, censure, resentment, or grief; find fault: (dictionary.com).
Complainers are an annoyance to society. There are people who honestly believe that ears were made to listen to hours of pointless babble. For example: in one of the past issues of the Campus Lantern, I wrote about minority scholarships. Many people came up to me and told me about students that they know that had comments about my article. This is a good thing. Letters to the editor are encouraged yet, none of the letters that were sent in to the Lantern wereabout the scholarship article. If you have something to say, either good or bad, about an article previously published, you should write in and let other students know about it; try to change the way people think.
Some people are born complainers. The most common complaints usually stems from dissatisfaction with how something works or how someone does something, etc. If you do not like the fact that Hurley closes at 7:00 or 7:30pm, depending on the day, try to change it. Go to the administrators or talk to the people who run Hurley. Don’t just sit there like a bump on a log,. Some complain that they are going to be in school forever, yet they are just taking whatever class is open at the time and not paying attention to what they need to get done for graduation. Pay attention and you can graduate on time.
Others like to take things to the next level. Complaining through Facebook or through text is ridiculous. Some like to leave nasty messages on Facebook or tell someone about how much they dislike this person that they hang out with. If you simply cannot stand one more minute with that person, then don’t. Leave the room, never go back, and stop talking to this friend that you just can’t stand. I do not want to hear about how much this person is annoying if you keep going back to see them.
People who complain incessantly are ruining the good days your friends just had before you walked into the room.
